Time: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
6:00 PM - Guest Arrival & Welcome Drinks
Guests begin to arrive at Kumeu Valley Estate. As you enter, you’ll be greeted with welcome drinks and light bites. Take a moment to mingle and enjoy the beautiful setting.
6:30 PM - Mingling & Socializing
Everyone has arrived, and the atmosphere is lively! Guests have time to chat, take photos, and get to know each other before the evening officially kicks off.
7:00 PM - Dinner Served
Dinner is served! Guests will enjoy a delicious spread in a relaxed, elegant setting. This is a great time to relax, catch up, and enjoy the meal.
8:30 PM - Toasts & Speeches
After dinner, we’ll have a few heartfelt toasts and speeches. We’ll share a few words of thanks and excitement for the journey ahead, with loved ones offering their best wishes.
9:00 PM - Dessert & Drinks
Delicious desserts are served, and we’ll keep the drinks flowing! It’s time to indulge in something sweet and continue mingling.
9:30 PM - Dancing & Music
Let’s hit the dance floor! We’ll kick off the dancing with some fun tunes and invite everyone to join in the celebration.
11:00 PM - Farewell & Thank You
As the evening winds down, we’ll take a moment to thank everyone for coming and making the night unforgettable. It’s been a night of laughter, love, and memories!

3:30 PM - Guest Arrival & Welcome Drinks
Guests arrive and are greeted by the wedding party. Light refreshments and welcome drinks will be served as everyone settles in and finds their seats.
4:00 PM - Ceremony Begins
The ceremony officially begins. It will be a beautiful moment as we exchange vows and become married.
5:00 PM - Pre-Dinner Drinks & Socializing
After the ceremony, join us for a pre-dinner drink to celebrate! This is the perfect time to mingle with friends and family, enjoy some hors d'oeuvres, and take in the celebration before the evening’s meal.
6:00 PM - Dinner Served
Dinner is served. We invite you to enjoy the delicious meal prepared for this special occasion, with plenty of time to relax and converse with loved ones.
7:30 PM - Cake Cutting
We will cut the cake and celebrate this sweet moment together as a couple. We hope you enjoy the beautiful creation and indulge in some of our wedding cake.
8:00 PM - Dessert Served
Dessert will be served! Savor some extra treats as we continue celebrating.
8:30 PM - Speeches & Toasts
Time for speeches from our loved ones. The maid of honor, best man, and close family will share their heartfelt words, followed by a toast to our future.
9:00 PM - Dancing Begins
Let’s hit the dance floor! We’ll start with our first dance as a married couple, followed by an open dance floor for everyone to join in.
11:30 PM - Last Dance & Farewell
As the night comes to a close, we will have a final dance and say our goodbyes. We hope you’ve enjoyed celebrating with us and thank you for being part of our big day!

How We Met
by Maddy & Sam
It’s funny to think that if it weren’t for a random dinner party, we might never have met. It all started one evening when Maddy decided to attend a dinner hosted by a mutual friend. She wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary - just a fun night with good food and even better company. Little did she know, Sam was also invited, freshly moved to town and eager to meet some new faces.
At first, we didn’t really think much of each other. Sam was caught up in conversation with other guests, and Maddy was enjoying the night, not looking for anything more than a few laughs. But then, we ended up in the same conversation group. It was one of those moments where everything just clicked. We were both laughing at the same jokes, agreeing on everything from favourite movies to our mutual love for spontaneous road trips. It felt like we’d known each other forever, even though we had just met.
That night, we talked about everything and nothing, and by the end of the evening, we both knew we wanted to see each other again. What started as an innocent friendship turned into something much deeper. We started spending more time together - taking weekend hikes, cooking meals together, and making memories that became the foundation of our relationship.
We look back now and laugh at how serendipitous it all was. Who would have thought that a simple dinner would turn into the start of our forever? But we’re so glad it did. Every moment since then has been an adventure, and we can’t wait to see where life takes us next.
